Leicester City midfielder Andy King will join Rangers today in a loan move.

Welsh star King will give Gerrard the added midfield options he desires in his bid to bring silverware to Ibrox.

King, 30, has found game time limited at the King Power Stadium over the last two seasons and has spent time on loan at Swansea and Derby.

He jumped at the chance to open talks with Gers, with opportunities under Brendan Rodgers looking unlikely following the deadline-day arrival of Belgian Dennis Praet, says the Daily Record.

King, capped 50 times by Wales, played 24 times for Leicester when they won the Premier League.
