Liverpool have been joined by Leicester City in pursuit of Standard Liege's Guillaume Hubert.

It is being reported that the Reds have stepped up their interest in the 21-year-old goalkeeper while the Foxes are now on the scene and ready to make a move.

Hubert emerged on the radar of Liverpool after forcing his way into Standard's first team earlier in the season and has been check on during the Belgian club's winter break.

Leicester are also keeping tabs on Hubert's condition and are believed to be preparing an initial bid of £700,000 for the former Valenciennes youngster.
