Leicester City defender Jannick Vestergaard has explained rejecting Hertha Berlin.
The Dane insists he didn't turn down the move contract terms.
He told TV2: "It's not about money at all.
"I didn't say no to Hertha or other clubs because of money. I have a very special situation in the family where we are expecting a child.
"If we had agreed early on with another club my wife could have managed to travel with me but now it is far too close to giving birth and she is not allowed to fly. I can't leave my heavily pregnant wife in England with our child and soon to be a newborn baby - and I also want to be with my child for the first few months.
"What man could do that?"
