Burnley are facing a battle to hold onto star defender James Tarkowski.

The Clarets are busy fighting for their Premier League lives as the league resumes this week.

But they will also have to work hard in the summer if they are to keep one of their best players, regardless of whether they stay up or go down.

The Mirror says Leicester City and Crystal Palace are hoping to sign Tarkowski this summer.

The 27-year-old is someone Leicester wanted last summer as well. And Palace are looking to shore up their back line.

Both clubs have cash after selling Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United for big money last summer.
