Leicester City are closing on a deal for Coventry City striker George Thomas.

Sky Sports says the Foxes are set to sign Thomas for just under £500,000.

The 20-year-old is out of contract but Coventry are due compensation and an agreement has been reached between the clubs.

The deal includes a number of potential add-ons based on the player's future performances.

Thomas scored a stunning winner for Coventry at Wembley in their EFL Trophy triumph last season.
