Leicester City are seeking to re-sign Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

The Sun says Leicester are considering a move to bring Chelsea outcast Drinkwater back to the club, according to reports.

The midfielder has been deemed surplus to requirements under Maurizio Sarri ahead of the new season.

Drinkwater was part of the Leicester side that famously lifted the Premier League title in 2016.

He then moved to Stamford Bridge in a £35million deal a year later but has failed to cement his place in the first-team.

Chelsea want £20m for his signature but the Foxes would rather take him on loan.
