Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare expects total commitment from Riyad Mahrez.

The Leicester Mercury says Shakespeare will expect Mahrez to knuckle down and show his professionalism when he returns after the international break.

The Foxes received no offers for the former PFA player of the year on deadline day and Roma remained the only club to have tabled an offer, although their £32 million final bid was below City's valuation of Mahrez.

Shakespeare is expected to hold talks with Mahrez when he returns to assess his state of mind but no issues are expected and he remains an integral part of the squad, with his team-mates happy that he is also giving 100 per cent effort.
