Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson insists last season's record against QPR will count for nothing this weekend.
Leicester City did the double over QPR last year while marching to the Championship title.
Pearson said: "I don't like to dwell on that kind of thing because when you come up against sides that you've not done too well against in the past.
"We're going to have to play well. I'm sure they will have a healthy respect for us as well.
"It is important that we go there with the right intentions and I'm sure that's what we'll do.
"When you look at the table the three promoted sides have not had an easy baptism.
"But we are in there fighting and we are all confident in the squads of players we have."
