Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has confirmed interest in West Bromwich Albion striker Ishmael Miller.
Eriksson, who managed Miller during his spell as Manchester City boss, watched the player score twice for Albion's reserves last week.
"I hope to speak to Roberto (Di Matteo)," said the ex-England boss.
"I know him because I had him at Manchester City.
"I saw him in training and in the reserves and he must have played a couple of first team games.
"He is a good player. I went to see him last week in Albion's reserves versus Chelsea. He played 45 minutes and scored twice. He was good.
"He has pace and power. He is the same as he was some years ago.
"When I first came here I watched a lot of games on video and live, and I thought pace is one thing we needed."
