Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has confirmed talks with released Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
The free agent is a target for West Bromwich Albion.
But the Swede told the Leicester Mercury: "I finally spoke to him one week ago and he knows if he wants to come he is more than welcome. We have not made an offer to him.
"We have taken in Johnson and Fernandes, so it is not a priority position. Owen is a fantastic player if he is fit. If he wants to come, he will phone me for sure."
