Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has publically apologised after his rant at a journalist on Wednesday night, following his side's 3-1 defeat by Chelsea. Ian Baker, the freelance journalist who was the subject of the incident, attended Thursday's news conference - which was meant to be concentrating on Leicester's game with Newcastle on Saturday.
"Apologies," said Pearson. "They wheel us out and I was not happy about losing.
"I react. Is it pressure? It might be. It's emotion more than anything. I'm not afraid of showing my emotion.
"I also accept when I've stepped out of line so it is only right to apologise."
