Leicester City look likely to acquire the services of Hatem Ben Arfa, according to Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas.
Get French Football has reported that Aulas told Canal+ he expects the Nice winger to join the Premier League champions this summer.
29-year-old Ben Arfa is being linked wth Southampton, Sevilla and former club Lyon but Aulas is of the belief that Claudio Ranieri's Foxes will win the race for his signature.
A Tweet on GFFN read: "Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas reveals that he has been told that Leicester City are in the lead to sign Hatem Ben Arfa."
It is understood that Ben Arfa wants a three-year deal and a signing on fee of £6.5million but Leicester will land him on a free transfer as his contract with Nice expires at the end of June.
