Lehmann ready to quit Arsenal

Jens Lehmann is weighing up his options at Arsenal.

The Daily Mail says Lehmann will demand a move in the January transfer window if he cannot force his way back into Arsenal's starting line-up.

The 37-year-old German international returns to training today after missing Arsenal's last four matches through injury.

Manuel Almunia has replaced Lehmann as Arsene Wenger's first-choice goalkeeper and will be given a run of games by the Arsenal manager to prove that he deserves his elevated status.

Lehmann is free to talk to other clubs when the transfer window reopens in January and is keen to maintain his position as Germany's No1 before next year's European Championships in Austria and Switzerland.
