Leganes have opened talks with Watford for fullback Marc Navarro.

The Watford Observer says Leganes have opened up talks with Watford about taking Navarro on loan.

Navarro almost made the switch to Leganes during the January transfer window, but a deal could not be completed because the Spanish club were unable to move on former Watford defender Juanfran to make space in their squad.

Interest in the move has since been renewed this summer and Leganes have begun discussions with the Hornets in a bid to bring the player to Spain.

Leganes are pushing to include an option to buy.
