Leeds United are interested in Sunderland youngster Jack Colback.
Colback is available from Sunderland after a loan spell with Ipswich Town earlier this season.
Leeds have signed George McCartney from Sunderland again and will return to Wearside in an effort to sign Colback on loan.
Colback is back at the Stadium of Light after three months on loan at Ipswich, where he spent last season, but Simon Grayson wants to borrow the 21-year-old midfielder to boost his promotion bid.
