Leeds United are demanding a bid of £5million from Everton if the Toffees want to sign youngster Sam Byram.
Everton are keen on signing Byram during the January transfer window and were confident of getting the deal done for a fee of around only £3m as the right-back's contract at Eland Road is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
However, Leeds are not prepared to sell Byram for such a meagre amount and have urged Everton to increase their offer by £2m if they want to sign the highly-rated 22-year-old in January.
