Burnley are in pursuit of Leeds United defender Alex Bruce according to reports.

The 27-year old defender is a free agent after his contract at Elland Road expired and it is believed that Burnley boss Eddie Howe is showing interest.

Bruce played more under Neil Warnock after he took the reins from Simon Grayson but it is apparent that he is keen for a fresh start and could find that at Turf Moor with the Clarets.
