Leeds United are at the top of the queue for Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn.

Whites boss Simon Grayson wants to take the young striker on loan for the start of the season to see off competition from Hull City.

Waghorn wants regular game time which he is not getting at the Stadium of Light and Grayson is happy to have him at Elland Road as Leeds get set to compete in the Championship after gaining promotion from League One.
