Aston Villa are challenging Leeds United for Hearts teen James Wilson.

Leeds have been regarded as favourites to land the young prospect.

But Football Insider says Villa have now stepped in to rival Leeds for Wilson's signing, with the Scot set to leave Tynecastle this summer.

Hearts have offered their Scotland U16 captain a three-year contract.

But Wilson was at Villa Park on the weekend and also took a tour of the club's Bodymoor Heath complex.
