Leeds United have pulled back from interest in Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez.

Nandez has been linked with Marcelo Bielsa and the Whites on and off for the last few transfer windows, but reports from Italy again escalated in recent days.

Fuelled in part by comments by his agent, several stories have placed the Uruguay international, currently playing in the Copa America in Brazil, on the verge of signing at Elland Road.

However, LeedsLive reports this is not the case and the 25-year-old is not currently on the list Orta is working with as he looks to enhance the United roster for the 2021/22 campaign.
