Leeds United are making a sensational move for Juventus legend Gigi Buffon.

Corriere della Sera says Leeds are among a trio of clubs from around the world trying to sign free agent Buffon.

The Italian legend left PSG this summer at the end of his contract but is not yet ready to call it a day.

Buffon, who turned 41 in January, is said to be receiving interest from Brazilian side Fluminense and Portuguese giants Porto.

The former Juventus goalkeeper is considering his options as he plots what is likely to be the final move of his career, according to Corriere della Sera.

Buffon spent just one season in Paris after 17 years at Juve and announced his departure earlier this month.
