Leeds United are closing on a deal for Barcelona fullback Junior Firpo.

Barca put Firpo up for sale at the end of last season and now Leeds are a step away from striking terms.

Sport says Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds is about to close a deal for Firpo at a price of €15m.

Under contract until 2024, the left-back was hardly used last season by Barca coach Ronald Koeman. He managed seven matches in LaLiga, including three as a starter.

Firpo joined Barca two years ago from Real Betis.
