Leeds happy seeing off Chelsea to keep hold of Lewie Coyle

Leeds United are pleased to have secured Lewie Coyle to a two-year scholarship.

Coyle's name came to prominence in 2006 when Chelsea were accused by Leeds of making an illegal approach to sign him - allegations the London club denied - but the right-back will take up a two-year scholarship with United in 2012.

Coyle, 15, has committed himself to a scholarship with Leeds after six years in their youth-team ranks.
