Leeds United have extended the loan of Sunderland defender George McCartney.
Leeds boss Simon Grayson has moved to extend the Northern Irishman's loan spell after he impressed in six appearances for United.
McCartney is in Leeds' squad for their game at Scunthorpe this afternoon.
Grayson told Leeds' official website: "We were keen for George to stay with us for a longer period and I'd like to thank Steve Bruce at Sunderland for agreeing to that.
"I do feel there is a lot more to come from George and the more games he plays the more people will see."
