Leeds defender Kristensen: Mourinho asked me to fight for him and Roma

Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen is delighted with his move to Roma.

The Dane has joined Roma on a season-long loan.

He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I think the quality that distinguishes me the most is probably strength, physical quality. It's always difficult to judge yourself, talk about yourself, I usually leave the judgments to others. But if you ask me I really think that power and physical prowess also allow me to do other things on the pitch, such as a run, a goal, an assist.

"I can be useful both in defence and in attack. I like to run and fight, I'm someone who always gives one hundred percent of himself on the pitch to help the team up to the last minute of the last match."

On coach José Mourinho, Kristensen added: "A great coach, probably the best ever in the history of football. I'm learning a lot from him, every day, I try to listen to him in every suggestion he gives me. And I want to give him back all the trust he placed in me. What did he ask me? To fight for me, for the team and for him."
