Leeds chief Orta: Celta Vigo will lose Veiga to England

Leeds United football chief Victor Orta expects Celta Vigo to lose Gabri Veiga.

Veiga is on the radars of Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.

Speaking to Relevo, Orta said: "The example of Gabri Veiga. How many chances do we think there are that the new Spanish soccer talent, Gabri Veiga, will stay in Spain?

"Well, it seems minimal. Either he goes to Real Madrid, which could be one of the issues, or he goes to England. And he just came out, having only been competing for six months.

"It is very painful. How does Spanish talent not stay in Spain? Well, because middle-class clubs can't afford it.

"And Gabri, I don't know, I'm not in his head, he decides that he's not going to Madrid because he's not going to play much and he's going to Newcastle or Aston Villa the same way. It is the reality of this market and the recruitment of talent by the Premier."
