Leeds boss Warnock knows Bates clashes are inevitable

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock expects to clash heads with chairman Ken Bates at times.

Warnock, 63, has landed at Leeds as successor to sacked boss Simon Grayson.

That means Elland Road chairman Bates has finally got his man - 21 years after being snubbed by Warnock when as Chelsea supremo.

Warnock "When I took over at Palace, all the headlines were about me and Simon Jordan and how we would get on. Now it's the same with Ken.

"There will be times when you need to tell him what you think is right for the club and he has got to listen.

"But we've a relationship where I respect him and he respects me."
