Leeds boss Marsch: I need more from Summerville

Leeds boss Jesse Marsch admits he still wants more from Crysencio Summerville after proving the matchwinner at Liverpool last week.

Marsch has not been shy in setting out the hurdles Summerville must clear away from matches in order to fulfil his potential, namely a required improvement in his discipline, work ethic and professionalism around Thorp Arch. The spotlight is on the diminutive forward and the boss wants the whole team to know it.

Asked if the starting shirt was now his to keep, Marsch said: “No, I think it's an opportunity for him to use the moment to strengthen his position within the group. That's what I've said to him.

“I said in front of the group, I said, I'm watching him. I told him in front of the group I'm watching him now and I'm going to stay on top of him even more.

“We have to make sure there's no slipping back and we're only going forward from here. He's had a really good training week."
