Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch was delighted for Will Gnonto after his double helped down Cardiff City in their FA Cup replay.
Leeds were comfortable 5-2 winners on the night, with Gnonto and Patrick Bamford both scoring twice.
"Willie (Gnonto) has been playing at a high level for a while now, but to have Patrick Bamford looking fit and scoring goals, that is a very positive sign for us," said Marsch.
"We feel we have some weapons now."
Italy international Gnonto scissor-kicked a stunning volley in off the crossbar from Rodrigo's precise chipped ball to set the Whites on their way to a fully deserved victory.
Gnonto, 19, also netted the home side's third, slotting in low to take the game away from Cardiff shortly after Rodrigo had made it 2-0 with a cool finish of his own.
Marsch added, "Gnonto is exceeding our expectations, he's doing really well.
"He's always about trying to do more and to do better... another really good performance from him.
"He's clever. The finish for the first goal is amazing. The potential is big.
"I knew we were going to be confident and it was good to see tonight."
