Leeds United attacker Rodrigo is set to join Qatari side Al Rayyan this summer.
The 32-year-old forward has a £3 million release clause tied to Leeds' relegation last season.
Per The Mail, Al Rayyan have triggered the clause and are negotiating with Rodrigo.
The Spaniard had no intention of playing in the Championship, but a move to Qatar is appealing.
While the league is not as competitive as the Premier League, he will earn a higher wage than he did at Leeds.
The Elland Road club paid huge money for Rodrigo in 2020 when they secured him from Valencia.
However, he has flattered to deceive for much of his time at Elland Road in subsequent seasons.
