Jeonbuk Motors striker Lee Dong-gook is closing in on the 30-goal target in the K-League this season.
The 30-year old attacker has netted 20 times in all competitions this term and has at least ten matches to become the first player to hit 30 goals in a season since Kim Do-hoon and Ricardo Lucas Dodo in 2003.
However, Lee has not targeted the milestone, preferring to let nature take its course.
"The record only puts pressure on me. I am only thinking that I will do my best in every game," Lee said. "It is important to score when the chances come to me."
With nine league games and semi-finals of the FA Cup approaching, Lee will have to make very post a winner if he is to reach the 30-goal landmark.
