Sammy Lee is determined to turn results around at Bolton Wanderers.
However Lee praised his team for the way they dug in against the former champions, whose winner came from Salomon Kalou in the 41st minute.
He said: "Obviously I am concerned at the position we are in.
"I cannot deny it is not good for any club. I am certainly not happy.
"But I will continue to work hard with the players. As long as they keep showing the application and desire for me, then I know we will get out of this situation."
