The agent of Cristian Ledesma admits the Lazio midfielder could buy out his contract next summer.

Frustrated by the lack of talks over a new deal with Lazio president Claudio Lotito, Vincenzo D'Ippolito said: "The Article 17 law was set up by FIFA. Moreover, if a youngster could earn three times as much and is likely to be prevented from doing so, then who wouldn't take advantage?

"Ledesma, after obtaining an Italian passport, is even more in demand, especially in Spain, where he could earn £2-3 million-a-year.

"I am always here ready to mediate, but it's certain Lotito, not me, must come to the table with a better offer."
