World Cup winner Franck Leboeuf has told PSG coach Thomas Tuchel NOT to select Marco Verratti for their clash with Manchester United.

The two teams meet for the first-leg of their Champions League round 16 tie next week with Tuchel confident Verratti will be fit for the game.

But Leboeuf told RMC: "Mr. Tuchel do not play Verratti against Manchester United, he will not be ready.

"Already, when he is in the middle, he cannot stand more than an hour. Even if he plays 45 minutes against Bordeaux, he will play how long in Manchester...? It's a fight there. You have to go with 100% players.

"Sincerely, it is not doing Marco Verratti a favour to have him play."
