Adam Le Fondre is convinced Reading are proving they're capable of beating the drop.

The striker took heart from their defeat to Manchester United.

Le Fondre, who faces fellow Prem strugglers Southampton on Saturday, said: "I think we can take heart from the performance and take it into the coming games.

"If we play against Southampton like we did on Saturday then we'll be okay."
