Goran Pandev says Lazio teammate Mauro Zarate can be a better player than Roma hero Francesco Totti.

Pandev said: "I think that in terms of potential Mauro is stronger than [Francesco] Totti. He can improve so much and at times he annoys me on the field because he is in love with the ball, but that is only normal.

"He is one of those players who can win a game all by themselves. Zarate and [Aleksandr] Kolarov are the future of Lazio, as the Serb will become one of Europe's top full-backs."
