Ousmane Dabo was delighted to fire home the decisive spotkick in Lazio's Coppa Italia penalty shootout last week.
The former Manchester City midfielder is delighted to be back with Lazio and declared: "I walked up to the spot convinced I would score.
"I thought of everything I've been through: the injuries during a difficult year, the terrible time at Manchester City, my return to Lazio, the last Coppa Italia, the fact I had asked for a substitution in extra time and still don't know how I reached the end of 120 minutes.
"It was destiny, I had to score. I am not a superstitious person, but I really thought my name was written on that penalty."
