Lazio winger Marco Parolo says they can't have any complaints after their Europa League elimination.

A 2-0 defeat to Rennes ended Lazio's run in Europe this season.

“We really lost our way with the two Celtic games," Parolo told Lazio Style Channel.

“Considering how it all went, we deserved to be eliminated. If we pick up six points out of 18, then evidently something is very wrong.

“This was never going to be the turning point in Rennes. All we can do is hope this serves as a lesson in future. Unfortunately, we put in two very strong performances against Celtic and emerged empty-handed."
