Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has been released from hospital.
Immobile has left the Gemelli hospital in Rome, where he was diagnosed with whiplash and a compound fracture of the 11th rib after crashing his car into a tram.
The incident occurred on Sunday, with Immobile driving his two daughters through the city streets.
Both the player and the tram driver insist they drove through a green light, so an investigation is now underway over the collision.
