Lazio striker Ciro Immobile was happy to score in last night's victory over Spezia.

Lazio cruised to a 3-0 win on the night.

Immobile said, "I missed scoring this year, it was such an eventful year due to injuries. The team has made up for my absence many times and I promised them that in this last part of the season I will give my best to help them. We have put a lot of things right from a defensive point of view.

“The quality has always been there, now we are expressing it at our highest level, and we try to do it match after match. We are doing everything the coach tells us, the approach has not been the best. Spezia are fighting point by point to save themselves from relegation, it wasn't easy."

He added, “I have to get myself right physically, then I'll go a thousand an hour like I've always done. I can't give up my being. It was just an unlucky season due to my ankle, when you start with injuries you never finish. But you don't give up."
