Lazio president Claudio Lotito turned down the chance to sign Juventus defender Jean Alain Boumsong.

It's understood Juve offered the Frenchman to Lazio on Friday, but Lotito rejected the proposal, despite coach Delio Rossi asking for central defensive cover.
