Lazio president Claudio Lotito has questioned the sacking policy of Palermo counterpart Maurizio Zamparini.

Zamparini fired Alberto Malesani after 19 days in charge yesterday, only to re-hire Gian Piero Gasperini.

"When it comes to changing a Coach you have to defend the decision until the end," Lotito told Radio 2.

"I think this one was made looking at the short-term, but I prefer to look at the long-term effect."
