Lazio president Claudio Lotito is pessimistic about signing River Plate goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo.

"Regarding Carrizo, we are still waiting, there are some bureaucratic problems but we hope that the documents (Italian passport) arrive before the 31st for his transfer," said Lotito.

"I have the feeling, however, that there are people of non-Italian descent who are creating obstacles. The player, in any case, will be with Lazio from July 1."
