Lazio president Claudio Lotito admits they recruited Taty Castellanos via the Transfer Room app.

Castellanos was picked up from Girona, where he was on the books of City Football Group.

Big things are expected from the Argentine and Lotito revealed: “We identified him through the Transfer Room and we really liked him. (Maurizio) Sarri endorsed the purchase.

"I did the negotiation in Cortina."

Lotito also revisited missing out on Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood, now on-loan with Getafe.

He added to Corriere della Sera: “We would have signed another striker if there had still been time. However, here the market was closed when still open in other countries."
