Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson has apologised to fans after defeat to Torino.

Toro defeated Lazio 1-0 on Saturday.

Anderson said, “We are so sorry because our path has taken us downhill in the standings, we came from a good run playing positive games.

“We knew that today was a very tough match that we prepared well. We're sorry for the result, but we can't let our heads drop now. The passing was lacking on the pitch, up front, there was a lack of quick play.

“We have to keep working and thinking about the next match. We'll learn and we'll do better in the next matches.

“We want to be together with the fans because they give us an incredible boost, we need them now especially, because we have to restart immediately.

“We have to unite, team and fans. If we think too much forward, we make mistakes because there are races like this that can hurt us. From now on they are all finals."
