Lazio defender Alessio Romagnoli admits they conceded "two stupid goals" for their 2-2 draw with Empoli.

Lazio blew a 2-0 lead for the draw on Sunday.

Romagnoli also said: "Even for us it's difficult to explain this draw. We dominated even after the 2-1 goal. Those conceded are two stupid goals, we have to improve because these matches must be brought home.

"We're fine, we saw how we played, we were always aggressive. Mentally it's a difficult period, we suffer in difficulties. In Lecce we threw away the first half, today we played a game in 10 minutes.

"We worked very well, it's normal that we defenders it eats at us by conceding goals, after an excellent first part of the season in which we didn't concede for many games, now we're conceding too much. We have to shut up and work.

"I don't think we need to find an episode to turn around, but stay on track until the end, which we don't do now. No match is affordable, the level of Serie A is high. We lack malice in the last few minutes, we give up comebacks too often and it's a shame because we could have had six or seven more points."
