Lazio coach Sarri unsure of January signings: I read I don't get along with Luis Alberto

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri admits he's yet to hear from president Claudio Lotito about this month's transfer window.

Lazio resume Serie A after the World Cup break against Lecce.

Sarri said: “I don't know if the market is open for us. Our president has been busy with something more important lately. We'll see when he gets back from vacation.

"You can make the team bigger, but it's difficult to improve the quality and raise the level. If you talk about Luis Alberto and (Sergej) Milinkovic every day, it is normal that harmony is damaged, but I can't help it.

"Maybe some threatening calls, but that's not my style. Players must not let themselves be influenced. I always read that Luis Alberto doesn't get along with me: when I arrived he wasn't in the squad because he wanted the transfer, so it's a situation I've found, it doesn't depend on me. Every transfer market he wants to return to Spain, but then stays and always gives his contribution."
