Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri slammed his players after defeat to Lecce.
The Serie A minnows overran the Champions League qualifiers in the final minutes to win 2-1.
Sarri said: "Everything happened in the final, but it happened all in the second half.
"We played an unacceptable second half, as a presumptuous team who thought they had already solved the game and when you don't have the right humility the first thing that fails you is the defensive phase."
Then in another soundbite, he added: "In the second half we did the defensive phase with only the four defenders and we found ourselves at the mercy of the opponents. The rest of the team looked back at the defensive phase and these are the consequences."
