Lazio coach Delio Rossi is beginning to believe in their Scudetto chances after yesterday's 3-1 victory over Torino.

"Will we target the Scudetto? If the players believe it, then why not?" grinned the Coach who was expected to be fired over the summer.

"Setting our ambitions at a high level does nothing other than improve our self-esteem. We may fight with teams that are bigger and better than us, but our spirit is a little wild and that allows us to be afraid of nobody."

This afternoon Mauro Zarate bagged a brace in the 3-1 victory away to Torino, taking his tally to six goals in five games.

"Let us say the truth is somewhere in the middle. I did believe in his capabilities, but not that he would explode on to the scene in this fashion," added Rossi.

"Torino did well today, but we fully deserved the three points."
