Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is being linked with Arsenal.

While manager Mikel Arteta appears safe, Il Messaggero says Arsenal have made enquiries after Sarri.

The former Chelsea boss is in his first season in Lazio and regarded highly inside the Gunners board room.

The 63-year-old Sarri is unhappy with how Lazio have acted in the transfer market and according to previous information, he will leave after the season if the club does not make the signings he wants.

Sarri is also said to have a clause in his contract that allows him to break, if he has the opportunity to sign for a foreign club.
